New York City in the Fall is a special time of year. The energy in the air feels electric, almost palpable, with sidewalks pulsating and bouncing with anticipation of what the change in season will bring. NY Fashion Week feels like homecoming, in a way, in the city that never sleeps, where seeing creativity spark the fashion and beauty industries out of the summer daze. Seeing the anticipated collections of dear friends is a highlight to say the least.

CB attended the runway shows of Peter Som and Costello Tagliapietra. Here is some of what we noted and loved:

The vintage downtown surfer girl inspired looks by Peter Som with his signature floral prints and feminine clean cut cropped jackets.

Paired with carefree beauty, the models wore relaxed top knots with a natural and put-together feel. The make-up was subtle with fresh, misty looking, skin accentuating the cheeks in pinkish tones and prominent brows.

A feminine spin on the personal style of designers Costello Tagliapietra. The collection brought convertible, day-to-night looks. Brushed out plaid lines on flowing tops and cardigans with slim cuts. For beauty – simplicity ruled the catwalk: pretty ponytails, pastel eye shades and shiny lips. Skin emulated a healthy, youthful glow.

Guess which models wear Clark's Botanicals?
